Mac Port for Engauge

Description
Engauge is a scientific program which can digitize the plot and convert ponts on the plot to value in (x,y). It is very useful in education and research. Besides, it is the only open-source solution for this purpose. However, I can't find this package in Macports, but I can find it in Fink http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/engauge-digitizer. It is quite inconvenient for me and probably many researchers. Furthermore, it is kind of sad for Macport to exclude such a good software. So, may I request to port Engauge to Mac OS via Macports? Or, is there an easy way to use Fink's package inside Macports?

+1 for me. I need this software too and they don't provide an OSX binary any more.
