opendx: running opendx only shows error boxes

Description

I've installed opendx on my Lion machine. When I start it everything seems fine until I want to create/execute a visual program: then piles of error boxes saying "Format error (1) encountered ..." will appear and working is impossible.

Luckily there's an upstream bug report ​http://www.opendx.org/bugs/view.php?id=251 about this issue and applying the attached patch solved the problem for me.
