PPL @0.11.2 configure error need M4 >= 1.4.5

Hi, I'm a newbie to macport on tiger 10.4.11 with ppc G5. Trying to build gcc 4.6.2, on dependency ppl-0.11.2 End of main.log in opt/....../ppl/main.log

There a m4.m4 in ppl/m4 checking that and /usr/bin/m4 with tiger is only 1.4.2 An install of m4 correct the problem. Thanks for your attention.
