p5-datemanip: missing dependency on p5-yaml-syck

Reported by: jovo@… Owned by: drkp (Dan Ports)
Priority: Low Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.0.3
Keywords: Cc:
Port: p5-datemanip

Description

Fetch quotes results in "Unknown error" after update to version 2.4.8. Checked in command-line: gnc-fq-check results are ok, echo '(yahoo "CSCO")' | gnc-fq-helper returns error message:

Undefined subroutine &Date::Manip::ParseDateString called at /opt/local/bin/gnc-fq-helper line 219, <> line 1.

Re-installing the Date::Manip Perl module (using Webmin) solved the issue for me. In the process some required modules (for Date::Manip) seem to have been installed: "Test::Inter" and "YAML::Syck".

Platform: Intel iMac with OS X 10.5.8, Perl 5.8.9

Summary: Gnucash 2.4.8 fetch quotes failsp5-datemanip: missing dependency on p5-yaml-syck

Looks like p5-datemanip is missing a dependency.

(Why is the port called p5-datemanip anyway? Shouldn't it be p5-date-manip?)
