In the log I see:

:info:build /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenAL.framework/Headers/alc.h:182: error: ‘<anonymous>’ has incomplete type

Perhaps the version of OpenAL included with Leopard is too old for kdegames. Perhaps there's a way to make it use the openal port instead.

Replying to ryandesign@…:

In the log I see: {{{ :info:build /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenAL.framework/Headers/alc.h:182: error: ‘<anonymous>’ has incomplete type }}} Perhaps the version of OpenAL included with Leopard is too old for kdegames. Perhaps there's a way to make it use the openal port instead.

The current line 182 in alc.h (dated 06/27/08) is: "ALC_API ALCcontext * ALC_APIENTRY alcGetCurrentContext( ALCvoid );"

I am using 10.5.8 which is the latest OS X Leopard for PPC.

Just another remark: According to the OpenAL homepage OpenAL hasn't been modified after 5/30/2008 and the current 1.1 specs have been published in June 2005:  http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Documentation/OpenAL%201.1%20Specification.htm
