Description
When upgrading from the older version of kdevelop 4.2.x and starting up kdevelop 4.3
an error occurs
Could not load project management plugin KDevCMakeManager. project importing plugin (KDevCMakeManager) does not support the IProjectFileManager interface.
Resulting in the project management aspect of kdevelop not to exsist

Did you run kbuildsycoca4 after having upgraded ?
