Description (last modified by ryandesign@…) (diff)
I've tried to use:
sudo port install glib2 ---> Computing dependencies for glib2 ---> Building glib2
It has been frozen here more 30 minutes.
This is a newly bought Mac lion and I just installed Macport.
How should I check if this is problem?

Please remember to use WikiFormatting, fill in the Port field, Cc the port's maintainer. As reporter, you don't need to Cc yourself.
I don't know how long it should take on modern systems, but on my several-year-old systems glib2 certainly can take awhile to build.
You can interrupt the build by pressing Control-C, then "sudo port clean glib2", then try again with "sudo port -d install glib2", "-d" will make it show debug output; if it ever stops, you can show us the part it stopped on.
