According to "curl -I", the distfile has not been modified since Mon, 06 Feb 2012 15:34:26 GMT. Can you check how this distfile differs from the one that you have?

Corrected. Just another case of a developer making stealth changes to an archive without changing name or version.

Ok. Configure now fails with:

sh: line 0: cd: /opt/local/var/macports/build/_Users_rschmidt_macports_dports_lang_yap/yap/work/yap-6: No such file or directory

Sorry. That issue is easy to correct but doing some tests with the updated portfile shows errors during make. I give up. Sorry for wasting your time. I will try again when a new stable release is out.

comment:8 Changed 14 months ago by ryandesign@…

That's too bad! Did the old version of 6.2.2 on which your original patch was based work?

comment:9 Changed 14 months ago by pmoura@…

Probably not but I really don't remember. Is possible that the make errors prevented me from updating the portfile at the time version 6.2.2. was released. Note that the make errors occur at the final stages where the Prolog compiler is compiling its bundled Prolog code so these are not errors that you can easily fix from the portfile.

  • Status changed from assigned to closed
  • Resolution set to wontfix

I guess we'll close this as wontfix for now, and wait for a new ticket from you when a new version of yap is released that does compile.
