Install pear with php 5.3.12 failed

Description

I would like to have pear with last version of php 5.3.12.

I use this command: "port install php53 +pear" but pear isn't present after installation.

Why ?

php53 does not have a pear variant. port search pear shows a "php5-pear" port. Please ask for help on the ​Macports-users mailing list since Trac is not for tech support.
