Hello,
I was recently recently updating OpenCV and noticed there was no OpenNI variant. The majority of OpenCV developers might not use the OpenNI support, so it doesn't make sense that this option is on by default, but for developers using a sensor such as Kinect/Xtion Pro/etc. this would be very useful.
It would be awesome if there would be an openni variant next to the existing OpenCV ones.

Good idea. Yes according to these instructions it sounds like we will need to make ports for openni and sensorkinect first.
