Description
I have been running ssh from the MacPorts openssh port for a while for regular usage. I upgraded the outdated ports recently and there was an openssh upgrade. After the upgrade ssh does not work anymore. When I try to connect to a remote site I get the error:
buffer_get_bignum2_ret: BN_bin2bn failed key_from_blob: can't read ecdsa key point key_read: key_from_blob SOMEBASE64ENCODEDKEY failed

Yes, this is exactly what I saw after ugrading openssl.

For the record, I ended up nuking my MacPorts installation and reinstalling, and OpenSSH worked out of the box.

For the record, again, I after reinstalling everything, it was able to trigger the issue again. I think it is related to a universal build of openssl. It was working fine when openssl wasn't universal.

For the final record, downgrading openssl fixed the issue.
