installing Nedi 1.0.7_3 at Mac OS X 10.8.5 failed with following message.

Any hints?

This was not a clean attempt. Please ​clean and try again.

Also, use of su is not recommended. Instead, use sudo. If you want a root shell, use sudo -s instead of sudo su.

You didn't add a pre-activate block to clean up the formerly directly-installed org.macports.nedisyslog.plist, which causes activation failures. See #49989.
