gcc48: Bootstrap comparison failure

I have tried to install gcc48 on my 10.5.8 PPC. While libgcc 4.8.2_0 has installed fine, gcc48 4.8.2_0 after a while stops building with this complaint:

Please check if this problem still exists after running sudo port selfupdate. r148391 fixed one cause of bootstrap comparison failure on newer versions of OS X, and maybe it helped in your case as well.

Thanks, I think this "bootstrap comparison failure" problem had gone long before, to be honest, I cannot remember from what time on gcc48 @4.8.5, gcc49 @4.9.3 and gcc5 @5.3.0_1 could successfully be built on my 10.5.8 PPC. BTW, I presently run libgcc @6.1.0. Only gcc6 @6.1.0 presently fails building on PPC, see #51388, but this is another topic.
