Description
The attached main.log file contains the error due to the new makeinfo.
One workaround is to use makeinfo from OS X Yosemite which has the version 4.8.
I have been able to compile the port by passing parameters:
build.args="MAKEINFO=/usr/bin/makeinfo" destroot.args="MAKEINFO=/usr/bin/makeinfo"
to macports invocation.
I am attaching a patch proposal for the portfile.
