Ethereal 0.10.12_2+darwin_8 doesn't launch

When i launch ethereal, i have this message :

dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libpcap.DP.dylib

Referenced from: /opt/local/bin/ethereal Reason: image not found

I've uninstalled ethereal and libpcap and then reinstalled them, but the issue still occurs.

OS : 10.4.2 on PowerBook G4 ethereal : 0.10.12_2+darwin_8 libpcap : 0.9.3_0

Make sure that you've cleaned the archive of the previous ethereal run (port clean --archive ethereal), then try the reinstall.

archive of previous build was being re-installed, cleaning it out solved the problem
