If you cannot answer the question, then it's likely there are other files in /opt/local that MacPorts did not put there which will cause other problems later. In that case, you should [https://guide.macports.org/chunked/installing.macports.uninstalling.html uninstall MacPorts], including removing the /opt/local directory. That way you can be sure there are no unwanted files in there. Then reinstall MacPorts and the ports you want.
