Is this a python module, or a program that just happens to use python?

This software appears to be under the MIT license, not the Apache license as indicated.

Resolved issues raised. Name is now ansible-lint, has the correct MIT license, updated version to current 3.4.13.

Some more comments:

  • Remove the obsolete # $Id$ line.
  • Shouldn't the category be sysutils like the ansible port?
  • Can openmaintainer be added?
  • Per the guide, please add an rmd160 checksum.

Done

  • Shouldn't the category be sysutils like the ansible port?

That sounds more appropriate, changed.

  • Can openmaintainer be added?

Sure. I think I did this correctly.

Done.

Thanks. Is there is a reason not to use the GitHub portgroup to fetch this port? It should simplify updating the port in the future because the master_sites line will go away. The current one looks to be specific to each version.

No reason, other than it didn't occur to me to use it.

See the Portfile - I think I did it right.

The livecheck didn't print anything when I tested it, so I think that's good?
