    11Thanks - just tried again, same error.  Same error when trying expat directly and then also with other dependencies (tried xfig, spidermonkey, ncurses).  Followed #50986 and I can successfully ping packages.macports.org so might not be completely the same?  Will try uninstalling and reinstalling macports.

     3[Edit] Uninstalling per https://guide.macports.org/chunked/installing.macports.uninstalling.html and reinstalling from the .pkg had no effect, same error.
