Description
lighttpd 1.4.11 was just released. 1.4.9, the version currently in darwinports, has some known load-balancing bugs so it should be replaced with the new version.

Please use the complete portfile, not the patch; I could not delete the patch for some odd reason. But the portfile is ready for committing

Please, can we get this updated to 1.4.11 (ASAP)?
Ruby on Rails 1.1 rc1 assumes lighty > 1.4.10 so default stuff breaks.

In light of that, anyone know if there is a way to override the ports repository with the newer portfile without breaking things so it still plays nicely?

When I look at the portfile on the website, it is still showing the version as 1.4.9.

It's definitely in cvs:

So I'd say that what you're seeing is falling behind...and recently, the rsync server was having issues as well, so a 'port sync' may also not pick it up yet.
