BUG: gcc40 4.0.3 fails to build on iMac Core Duo

In short, the build fails during stage 2 with

I've attached the complete dports debug log.

I'll try building in a chroot environment to isolate any system causes.

The apple gcc being used to bootstrap is

i686-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 5250)

I suspect this is upstream, but I haven't tried a non-Darwin build yet, either.
