14description         A scriptable ping program to check if multiple hosts are up

16long_description    fping is different from ping in that you can specify \
17                    any number of hosts on the command line, or specify \
18                    a file containing the lists of hosts to ping. \
19                    Instead of trying one host until it timeouts or \
20                    replies, fping will send out a ping packet and move \
21                    on to the next host in a round-robin fashion. If a \
22                    host replies, it is noted and removed from the list \
23                    of hosts to check. If a host does not respond within \
24                    a certain time limit and/or retry limit it will be \
25                    considered unreachable.
