Message:

Tell ld to look into /usr/local/lib.
gcc does look into /usr/local/include and might end up choosing the headers of a
library which exists in both /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib, but of course different
versions.

This hack works on MacOS X with and without a custom libreadline. It might break
on other systems, but it's much better than altering gcc include lookup order.
