To clarify -

The error "(gimp:6388): Gdk-CRITICAL : gdk_pixmap_new: assertion `(width != 0) && (height != 0)' failed " comes from gimp-2.2.12 on ppc

The bug also shows itself on gimp-2.2.11 on x86 but I do not have the error output.

I can't duplicate this on 2.2.13, or maybe I'm not gimp saavy enough. This should be reported to the gimp developers anyway because it surely must be an application issue that we wouldn't be able to fix. Does 2.2.13 still behave this way?
