Description
Hi,
Octave has upgraded to version 2.9.10 but 2.9.9+ is available at macports at the moment. I've updated the Portfile and the patches. Please also notice that the octave-forge project builds of single packages since 2.9.10 is out. The user can download single packages himself in install these in Octave (so you may remove the whole port of the macports octave-forge package).

I believe ticket #12937 supersedes this one (provides updates to 2.9.15). Could the maintainer please comment?

The maintainer has said that he's busy with other things at this time, so I'll try to help out here. I updated octave to 2.9.15 in #12937. I did not yet remove octave-forge because I do not use octave so I do not understand the implications.
