Why did you close the ticket? You haven't included 2 of my changes. Documentation is something a port should really install and lib: dependencies should be used if there is really a reason. This concern apr as well.

I didn't close it ;-)
The lib dependency is there to force failure when someone has an old apr (pre 1) port installed. It could probably be changed now (but there was a good reason to have it there in the first place).
As for "Documentation" the CHANGES, LICENSE, and NOTICE files are not especially useful. If the project had some documentation files and/or a make target that wanted to install documentation files, then I think it would be worthwhile to add it.

CHANGES is useful, i like to know what changed when I do an upgrade. The overhead of having these files installed is not a bother anyway.
