BUG: avahi activation gone wrong

Activating avahi leads to the following error:

but the MacPorts shows it as active:

What is really annoying about this is that the documentation states that "delete" is just like "file delete" and the Tcl documentation for "file delete" is that deleting a file that does not exist does not raise an error, but "delete" does raise an error.
