Description

freeride-0.6.0

The package containing two extra scripts (an installer and a path independent run script) are available at http://www.otierney.net/files/freeride/freeride-0.6.0.tar.gz. The portfile is also available at http://www.otierney.net/files/freeride/Portfile.

Description: Freeride is a Ruby IDE written in the FOX GUI library, and uses FXScintilla to highlight source code. It is highly modular, and is in active development.

Homepage: http://freeride.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl

Comments: The package i provided has two additional scripts not included in the official tarball. One script, install.rb, to install freeride properly in darwinports, and freeride to allow freeride to be launched from any location. Notes: freeride throws errors upon closing, although nothing seems to come of it. Also, the config dir /opt/local/freeride/config is set to writable by anyone (777), as there does not appear to be a way to change this directory to a user's home directory,.

Snag the port file at http://www.otierney.net/files/freeride/Portfile

shouldn't this be in 'ruby' with secondary category set to 'devel'? (considering the IDE is for ruby and is written in ruby as well)
