g4 ibook 10.4.11
I started getting interested in steganography and tried getting stegdetect through macports. The macports package 1.6 says 'error installing' and the stegdetect ball gives a bunch of error messages too without installing anything.

The attached error-steg shows what happens when you try to install on PowerPC. The new attachment error-stegdetect-intel.txt shows the different errors you get on Intel.
There hasn't been a release of this software since 2004. The port has no maintainer.
Someone should report these problems to the developer of the software and see if they care to make a new release to fix these problems.

As of r47667, it builds fine on 10.5.6/Intel; can anyone say if PowerPC works?

ok, the macports 1.6.0 package finally installed successfully. But stegdetect still doesn't install.
