lxml 2.0 is just released. will attach the Portfiles. tested on Tiger and works for me.

lxml 2.0 has a problem running on OS X. Please wait till lxml fixes this

The probelm have been Investigated and now I found what causes this issue. (See above link for further details)
I'm still wondering how should I fix this. 1) linking with libxml2 in /usr/lib? 2) statically linking lxml and macports's libxml2? (how?)

BTW, that apparently this doesn't happen on OS X 10.3.9 Panther.
