gnutar-1.20 patch to avoid gcc-4.2

Will attach a patch which can be used in patchfiles instead of requiring gcc-4.2. 'make check' results in 60 successful tests and 14 skipped.

For reference if you want to compare to a build with gcc-4.2, the 14 skipped:
