similar to http://trac.macports.org/ticket/16555
rtorrent version 0.8.3 is released, bugfixes of libtorrent 0.12.3 go hand in hand with bugfixes/enhancements of rtorrent.
As said in the libtorrent ticket, i would also suggest making ipv6 a variant instead of a default compile setting.
BTW, what i forgot to say on the other ticket: Thanks for MacPorts, thanks to all the contributors, maintainers. It's great!

Updated Portfile to 0.8.3. Also converted tabs to spaces.

and the changed portfile for 0.8.3 hasn't been applied so far anyway.
I suggest closing this ticket in favor of the mentioned new ticket.
