opendx: does not launch

Hello,

I have succeeded in installing dx from the macports.

However, it can not launch and I have the following comment

> dx
Error: attempt to add non-widget child "dsm" to parent "startupui" which supports only widgets

Also, I had the following comments in the building of dx:

bash-3.2$ sudo port install opendx

PS: It is the first time I use macports so I may have done something wrong. Note also that I have used the enclosed Portfile found on the macports pages. Without it, configure dx did not work with the version of macports.

Since opendx depends on openmotif, it's probably related to #18114.

The violation by /opt/local/dx suggests either that the port should install files elsewhere or declare that it violates the standard layout.

Hi, the solution given in #18114 worked for me. I still have the problem of violation by dx but the application launches. So great. Thanks a lot.
