Description

Attached is a proposed patch to upgrade mjpegtools from version 1.6.2 to 1.9.0. Since the current version is more than 5 years old, the changes are fairly extensive as follows:

  • update to 1.9.0
  • update dependencies and configure options as required by the updated configure. In particular, include all dependencies that are auto detected and can't be turned off by configure directives. See #16606.
  • remove outdated patch files
  • remove outdated variants particularly those that only add a dependency or involve a configure option that is no longer provided
  • add a +no_x11 variant for non-X11 build environments (X11 support is enabled by default.)
  • fix livecheck with an appropriate regex definition

This upgrade is necessary to use mjpegtools with transcode.
