texlive_texmf-minimal bug in beamer with rounded blocks

Reported by: vinc17@… Owned by: macports-tickets@…

Component: ports Version: 1.7.1

Port: texlive_texmf-minimal

Description

Beamer has a bug with the effect of rendering the main text after a rounded block in white (I'll attach a testcase). I've found a fix in this article from fr.comp.text.tex; I'll attach the corresponding patch for the texlive_texmf-minimal port. Is it OK to apply this patch?

Alternatively, provide a more recent version of beamer: this is what Debian does (even though it is also based on TeX Live 2007) with its latex-beamer package. And it has the bug fixed.

It's nomaintainer, so unless you have doubts about the correctness of the fix, go right ahead.
