Port: prc-tools added
Version: 1.8.0

Just to make sure, you did install Xcode 3.2 after upgrading to 10.6?

comment:2 Changed 15 years ago by jmroot (Joshua Root)

Actually, it seems this port builds its own gcc, so that's probably what's going wrong.

comment:3 Changed 15 years ago by yesthatjwz (Jamie Zawinski)

Yes, I did upgrade to XCode 3.2.

This port is trying to build a cross-compiling gcc that can generate m68k code for old PalmOS devices (Pilot, Treo, etc.)

It's interesting that this seems to get farther than Leopard (#13651). According to comment:ticket:13651:5, it looks like gcc 2.95 doesn't support Intel Macs. prc-tools might fall as a casualty of OS and hardware changes...

Replying to css@…:

If gcc 2.95 won't work on Intel Macs, that's going to eliminate prc-tools as a port candidate on Snow Leopard.
