Description

Hi all,

When trying to build gcc42, it tries to use an application called "i386-apple-darwin10.0.0-ar", which is not available on my system. I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and removed the whole /opt/local directory and other assorted parts (as described in the FAQ). I'm trying to recompile everything I need now.

I tried searching for the binary with locate, spotlight and 'find / -name i386-apple-dawin10.0.0-ar', but it's nowhere to be found.

The complete output from "sudo port -d install gcc42 -universal" can be found in the attachment. Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.
