I can reproduce this problem on Snow Leopard x86_64. The maintainer or someone should probably report this problem to the developers of this software.

Building Player 3.0.1 from source works fine on Snow Leopard x86_64. However this solution will not allowed playerstage-stage to be installed as it required playerstage-player.

Is this still a problem with 3.0.2?
