#23808 closed update (fixed)

Update Deluge from 1.1.9 to 1.2.1

Port: deluge

Description

Deluge has been updated recently to 1.2.1, including some major fixes in Rasterbars libtorrent (endgame mode and mainstreaming of reported download volume). Please update to this version in ports. Furthermore, there has been attempts to make a native OSX GUI for Deluge using GTK-Quartz, dropping the X11 dependency. Maybe this could be looked into too? Granted, this request should probably put in another ticket.

Here is a diff that gets deluge 1.2.1 installed. I've tested the GTK, web, and console UIs. As Rasterbar's libtorrent doesn't have a port yet, you get an error with the gtk UI before disabling classic mode, but I assume that was an issue with 1.1.9 as well.

There isn't any support for a Quartz UI as I haven't found any info on how to get that working.

Anyone know of a way to disable systray support? As is, if it's enabled, the close button leaves Deluge running.

Well, I did use your patch (and a patch for that aged Atlas bug ...) and finally installed Deluge. Minor annoyances during the install which probably should get fixed for a final release are mentioned Atlas bug and the failure to install the boost +python25 dependency (this behaviour has been around for a while and makes manual install of boost mandatory). I get the same error message about classic mode. The GUI seems to work fine, but the daemon deluged responsible for the actual file transfer doesn't work. When manually starting it aborts with an error suggesting that no libtorrent library was found. The error log when trying to start deluged manually is attached.
