#24336 closed defect (worksforme)

py26-enthoughtbase hangs indefinitely (>6 hours) at the build stage.

Reported by: dantebben@… Owned by: jjstickel@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.8.2
Keywords: Cc:
Port: py26-enthoughtbase

Description

At the build stage of py26-enthoughtbase it hangs indefinitely. The last output of the debug is "Assembled command: ..." (see attached file).

I have tried this several times over the past 3 days, and went as far as removing everything Python related and starting over. All of the listed dependencies are met.

Any ideas on what may be wrong?

I ran the install again with '-t' set and found an error related to hashlib not finding _md5. I attached the trace log.

Is this still a problem with 3.0.6?

Replying to jmr@…:

Is this still a problem with 3.0.6?

My guess is this is a stale ticket. I do not remember experiencing a hang during the build stage for any version, and the latest (3.0.6) has been working fine for me. I will be happy to troubleshoot a bit if there is more information.

In any case (getting off topic), can the developers please finish committing the other portfile patches on ticket #27016?

Assuming this is working now.
