Description
gcc_select should probably be updated to version 0.3 and should use the select portgroup like the python_select port does.

I don't think it's worth the effort as
port selecthas been released with 1.8. The {gcc,python}_select ports need to be converted to install thebasefile only. Also documentation regarding the use of select ports should be updated first.
