Description

I really had to dig to find the manuals:

locate port.1 |sed -n 's/\/.*\/p' |grep -n port

--> 85, 91 locate port.1 |sed -n 91p The man page I found by this had this path:

/opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/base/doc/port.1

At least new users might find comfort and trust in the system if they can open a man page, and that at least the system provides what it says. I love macports.

The man pages are installed to /opt/local/share/man. This will be found unless you are setting a custom MANPATH (in which case the system is just doing what you're telling it to do).
