can't install pango with +universal variant

Tried to install pango with +universal (as a part of gimp) and got a merge error:

This is the last bits of the log with the -d flag:

I'm guessing you did not clean before running with the -d flag, therefore we're now seeing a different error than you saw the first time. Please clean and try again:

sudo port clean pango
sudo port -d install pango +universal

I also suspect this may be a duplicate of #22801. If you're not sure, show me the output of the above.

Looks like you're right! It's a dupe (searched for the error and couldn't find it on first go).
