Description

The attached patch updates emacs-app-devel to use the current emacs bazaar sources (24.x) and includes the variant option of the full screen patch (+fullscreen).

Note: the CVS version referenced in the old port is very out of date.

Status: new → assigned

So is this a request to take over the devel port? There are a few other issues with the patch:

  • The port name shouldn't change, as it should match the directory.
  • The version need to remain formatted such that port can make version comparisons. If it's version 24 from the bazaar, I recommend leaving it as 24.
  • I'm not familiar with bzr, so does this patch yield a reproducible checkout? (Meaning that the checkout version is locked in by the Portfile.)
