kipi-plugins @1.1.0 -> build Failure: Qmake not found

Reported by: steyner@… Owned by: jgosmann (Jan Gosmann)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.9.2
Keywords: Cc: michaelld (Michael Dickens)
Port: kipi-plugins

Description

This occured while installing Digikam.

It might be a similar problem to ticket #27178 but since the error message is different I filed a new one.

qmake is found on the command line. qt4-mac is installed without any problems.

The build fails with the message:

--->  Configuring kipi-plugins
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command failed (see log for details)
Log for kipi-plugins is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_kde_kipi-plugins/main.log
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

Here's an excerpt from my log:

I have already submitted an updated portfile for kipi-plugins 1.6.0 (see ticket #27349). With that there should be no problem finding qmake. (There were some changes in the KDE 4 port group which broke some of the depending ports.)

Have you done "sudo port selfupdate" recently? Your qt4-mac install looks to be located in ${prefix}/libexec/qt4-mac -- latest qt4-mac installs into ${prefix}.

Hi,

yes I did selfupdate just before the install.

I'll try the new profile though I just started learning about MacPorts. I hope i can do it right with my very little knowledge.

Hi,

could someone explain to me how to use these diffs or give me a link to some documentation or tutorial? I need a version "for dummies"... I had hoped there was some information on how to use the diffs in that other ticket...

Replying to michaelld@…:

Uninstalling, cleaning, updating and reinstalling didn't help, sorry.

But thanks for the hint.

Resolution: duplicate
Status: newclosed

Marking as duplicate since the update in #27349 should fix this.
