First I tried to install playerstage-player and then playerstage-stage. It seems that "port install playerstage-player" tries to install x86_64 packages, whilst "port install playerstage-stage" prefers i386 architecture.

Be honest "port install playerstage-player" succeeded (almost) I.e. calling player ends up making a core. After calling "port install playerstage-stage" all fd up as in the description above.

So, in my perception it is impossible to install playerstage-stage on Mac OS X 10.6

Please use WikiFormatting so your posts are legible, fill in the Port field, and Cc the maintainer of the ports in question.

I think we'll need more of the main.log than what you showed. Please attach it in its entirety.

hmm, how I can add maintainer if the ticket has been already submitted?

You can't add anyone but yourself to cc after the ticket is created. Ryan already assigned to the maintainer for you.
