I tried to compile emacs 23.3 but both my macbook air (32bit) and imac (64bit) give the same errors. According to "main.log",

BTW I believe all MacBook Air models have a 64-bit CPU.

Are you using XCode 4? If so, then this is a duplicate of #28167

Yes. I installed XCode 4. I checked #286167, but there is no solution so far. I'm hoping that somebody finds a solution to this.
