dirmngr @1.0.2: configure fails to find libassuan

Trying to build gnupg2 on MacOSX10.6.7 with Xcode 4.0.2. Migrating from PPC and updating all needed ports. Things going fine after following Migration instructions. I selected variant dirmngr for gnupg2. Build nearly complete when it gets this error:

Do you still see the problem with 1.1.0? It builds for me.
