Here's a Homebrew recipe which addresses most of the issues mentioned on the mailing list:
- python support should be (fixed and) enabled in
libnewt(currently it finds all python versions in/usr/include/python) BYOBU_PREFIXand maybeBYOBU_CONFIG_DIRneed to be set to${prefix}(which sounds like an upstream issue withbyobu, but that one is at least easily "fixable" by users)
