Description

Please update the gcc46 +gfortran tot the 2011-06-27 build of 4.6.1. Please also add a port of the current active development branch: gcc47 +gfortran.

Neither gcc 4.6.0 nor 4.6.1 do compile on 10.7 due to a bug in the MacOS toolchain (more specifically, ld (1)). Gcc 4.7ß might be luckier, I’ll have a try.

The problem that gcc46 +gfortran doesn't work for some users is filed as #30166.

We can leave this ticket open as a request to create gcc47.
