avahi: Unable to verify file checksums

Just did port selfupdate and upgrade outdated and got stuck with the following error:

sudo port install avahi

Neither port sync, nor another selfupdate, clean --dist and install did solve the problem. I'm not into the stuff deeply, but could it be that the mirrors are not up to date or not working atomically correct?

I'm getting same error trying to install kdenlive. I tried cleaning and even proxying the checksum/rmd160 responses but it seems like the org.macports.checksum is out of date
